Mark Martin Blog July 5, 2008 Hello everyone, Well, I just wanted to drop you guys a quick note. I know it has been quite a while since I last talked to you guys and I know there is a lot to talk about. I promise to say more about what all is going on next week. But right now, I just wanted to drop you guys a quick note to wish you guys a late happy fourth of July. We have a great car for tonight’s race and I can’t tell you how excited I am to get in that No. 8 U.S. Army Car tonight. If that car runs anything like it did during the last practice, it might just remind you of how that No. 8 car used to run with Dale Jr. back a few years ago at Daytona. I was able to pass cars – up high – by myself during that practice and that is a rare thing. The car’s have a lot of power and I think we might have us a great deal of fun tonight. Now you guys don’t worry about all the stuff with next season. Yes, I’m back and I’m excited. But tonight, just sit back and relax, enjoy the race and just maybe we’ll take that No. 8 car to Victory Lane. Thanks again for all the support through all of this, Mark Martin

Unfortunately with the cautions at the end we didn't get the ending we so desire for that Army team. I applaud the effort you give each week to that race team of yours, the Army, and your fans.
